A pre-Civil War percussion musket

19th century

Side plate, trigger plate, butt plate and barrel bands with JW inspector marks, incorrect barrel with PV inspector mark.

Condition
Pitting to lock plate; all metal work has been cleaned; missing nipple; stock with wear and aging to finish. No repairs; chip to stock at the end of the block plate. Barrel length: 33 1/8 in. (84.14 cm.)
